The READI Score™ is a practical and comprehensive method I developed early on in my career to effectively measure how prepared I was to achieve my best in sales. Simple in approach, it aims to upgrade your ability to both be well and do well in your life, and thus in real estate.

Rest
- Consistent, quality sleep is vital to good health.
- Regularly scheduled days off play a central role.
- Short breaks during the work day have an effect.
- Various forms of meditation provide deep rest.
- Vacations allow you to unwind and rejuvenate
Exercise
- There are all kinds; choose what you like to do.
- It’s not the Olympics; pace yourself accordingly.
- Find a partner; join a regularly scheduled group.
- Conscious breath, good posture, easy stretch.
- Get some cardio; engage your core; stand vs sit.
Admin
- Set a daily time frame for administrative activity.
- Adopt and build in simple and effective systems.
- Do what matters most; cut what isn’t necessary.
- Avoid the lure of “creative avoidance” behavior.
- Step up and pay for the level of help you need.
Diet
- Not diet as in weight loss (but it may be needed).
- Rather diet as in nutrition; what and how you eat.
- It’s about fueling yourself for health & success.
- Are you tuned into what works and doesn’t work?
- Be “funatical” not fanatical; moderation is okay.
Inner-work
- Mental: positive outlook and perspective.
- Emotional: managing feelings and stress.
- Spiritual: meaning and purpose beyond oneself.
- Clarity about what’s most important to you.
- The regular practice of connecting to your why.
